About Bona Brasa
Bona Brasa is a small online shop in Marratxí, Mallorca. We sell one thing and know it well: beech smoking dust, which we pack ourselves.
Why beech smoking dust
We have been smoking at home for years: salmon, cheese, ham, salt. What matters most for the result is not the equipment but dry, clean dust with the right grain size. That is why we buy beech smoking dust with a 500/1000 grain in bulk and pack it into bags of 500 g, 1 kg and 5 kg, so you always get the amount you need.
Why “Bona Brasa”
In Mallorcan, “bona brasa” means “good embers”. There are no flames in a cold smoke generator, just a tiny glowing ember that creeps slowly along for hours and gives the best smoke. That calm is what we want to pass on.
How we work
- One product, well explained. We would rather offer one product we know inside out and show you how to get the most from it, for example in our cold smoke generator guide.
- Packed by us. We fill and label every bag in Marratxí. That is why we are named as the manufacturer, with all the safety information.
- Clear prices. All prices include VAT, and you see the delivery cost, based on weight, before you pay.
- Delivery within Spain. We deliver to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, usually within a few working days.
- Personal service. We answer ourselves, in English, Spanish or German.
